I'm not getting on a high horse here, but I'm considering just quitting Deviant Art for good.

I've just grown real tired of getting only ten views on a picture I've worked really hard on. And I'm tired of the general quality of art which is published here on DA.

There are perhaps a handful of good photographers here, while there are millions of 14-year olds, taking pictures of clouds with their cellphones and getting more views and comments than some far more professional ones. Yes including myself.

I've years of education within photography and am used to getting construtive criticism from real pro's, I don't get that at all here. To me, DA has become nothing but a public server for photos. An "upload-site". Not a community that lets you improve yourself.

I've become a member of a smaller much more defined site in my own country, where I get 200 views over night for each picture, and loads of constructive criticism from photographers you read bylines to in the newspapers and magasines.

Since DA opened up for nudeshots, theres also now a new crowd that has other purposes for looking than being interested in art. So to you few who like my art - I'm not even sure you're gonna care - I apologize for not being active in the future here.

Perhaps I can upload some pictures once or twice in a year. But I've found a better place now. Screw you Deviant Art !
